Synopsis

Chak Jawana highlights the problems faced by youth in a Punjabi village. The young men fall prey to drugs, become irresponsible and disturb the peace.

The elders despair about the future of their community. Captain Gurjeet Singh (Gurdas Maan) arrives on a month's home leave from the Indian Navy. He reforms the youth and helps them overcome their weaknesses. The film has a powerful message on family values, determination and hope.
