Synopsis
Geelong French Film Festival
A French farce that turns the tables: this time it’s the older generation that has the problems. Marie-France (Nathalie Baye) decamps to the home of her son and daughter-in-law seeking their support. She has good reason - she’s coming to terms with her philandering husband (Pierre Arditi). Billed in France as an ‘inter-generational comedy’ it can also be viewed as a satire on ‘the extended family’. This family is about to be extended in a most unusual direction. How on earth will it cope? Light hearted fun with a talented cast.
